Find answers to the most common questions about Infinite Protection , how it works, and how it keeps your devices and network protected.
Basic information about Infinite Protection , what it does, and who it's built for.
Infinite Protection is an all-in-one cybersecurity solution offering 24/7 VPN encryption, virus and malware protection, and internet controls β all managed from a single dashboard. It's designed to protect families, small businesses, and remote teams without requiring any technical expertise.
Infinite Protection is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses, families, ministries, nonprofits, and remote or hybrid teams. If you need consistent, easy-to-manage cybersecurity across multiple devices and users β without an IT department β Infinite Protection was built for you.
Most people don't know when they're being hacked. Using Infinite Protection 's Entourage feature, you'll be able to see all attempted intrusions β on some devices we've seen as many as 20 attempts in a single hour. Infinite Protection protects proactively so you never find out about a breach the hard way.
Unlike other VPNs that only activate on demand, Infinite Protection 's VPN is always on β the moment you turn on your device, you're protected. The same 256-bit AES encryption used by the military and banks shields your data at all times.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) creates a secure, encrypted tunnel around your internet traffic so that no one β not hackers, governments, or even your Internet Service Provider β can see what you're sending or receiving online.
A VPN is necessary because tools to intercept your data have become increasingly sophisticated. Without one, sensitive passwords, identity details, and financial information can all be exposed, leading to compromised accounts, identity theft, and worse.
Absolutely. Infinite Protection is an ideal cybersecurity and network monitoring solution for businesses of all sizes. With Infinite Protection , businesses are protected from malware and other unwanted online entities. The internet controls and monitoring capabilities mean that business owners can keep an eye on network activity for all employees and restrict access to certain websites or categories of websites β for example, blocking all social media on company devices during work hours.
Learn about the core tools and security features included in Infinite Protection .
Infinite Protection covers three key areas of online security: a 24/7 VPN that encrypts all your traffic, virus and malware protection that blocks ransomware, spyware, adware, and phishing attempts in real-time, and internet controls that let administrators filter content categories and monitor all device activity from a central dashboard.
Yes. Infinite Protection is available on almost every device β Windows, macOS, Android, Apple iOS (phones and tablets), Kindle Fire, and in beta on Chromebook. You can protect an unlimited number of devices, all managed from one account dashboard.
Infinite Protection is engineered for performance. The app is extremely lightweight β only 12MB on Windows, 30MB on macOS, 11MB on iOS, and 30MB on Android. Most users notice no meaningful difference in browsing speed, and Infinite Protection works seamlessly on both WiFi and cellular networks anywhere in the world.
Malware is an umbrella term for unwanted software that can harm your device or compromise your accounts. Infinite Protection protects against Ransomware (locks your files and demands payment), Trojans (hide in downloads and become active once installed), Adware (unwanted advertising that can slow devices and signal deeper compromise), Spyware, and Phishing attempts.
Entourage shows you all the background activity happening when you visit a website or use an app β including third-party trackers, advertising networks, and other unsolicited connections that "tag along" with legitimate traffic. Infinite Protection filters the unwanted Entourage and gives you a complete, transparent view of what's being allowed into your network and what's being blocked.
With an internet filter, an administrator can block entire content categories from accessing a network or device β for example, blocking pornography, social media, or specific websites during certain hours. Infinite Protection 's dashboard lets you customize these controls per user profile, making it easy to set appropriate access levels for employees, children, or any user group.
A profile is an individual user's account within Infinite Protection that can be customized with its own specific internet control settings and security levels. "Unlimited profiles" means you can create as many as you need to fit the requirements of your organization or family β there's no cap on users.
Guidance on how to install Infinite Protection , set up your account, and start using it.
First, create an account on the Infinite Protection website. Once your account is set up, follow the user-friendly tutorial to create profiles for all users β this simply involves naming each user and setting their security and filter levels. Then download the Infinite Protection app onto each device, sign in with your credentials, and assign the device to the appropriate profile. Once done for all devices, your setup is complete.
Not at all. Setting up Infinite Protection only takes a few minutes per device. The process is guided step-by-step, and no technical expertise is required. Both Windows and Mac auto-launch Infinite Protection after installation. On mobile, it appears alongside your other installed apps.
No. Infinite Protection was specifically designed so that anyone β regardless of technical ability β can protect their organization or family. The dashboard is user-friendly and doesn't require constant IT oversight for setup, maintenance, or monitoring.
Infinite Protection is compatible with Windows 7 and 10, macOS (Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur), Android 4.1 or later, iOS 9 or later, Kindle Fire, and Chromebook (beta). It works on both WiFi and cellular networks, anywhere in the world.
On mobile devices, turning on automatic updates ensures Infinite Protection always stays current automatically. Desktop clients (Windows and macOS) must be downloaded and updated from the Infinite Protection website. We recommend enabling automatic updates wherever possible so you always have the latest threat definitions and security patches.
When Infinite Protection is active, your device will show a VPN indicator. You can also log into your Infinite Protection dashboard and view your real-time activity log to confirm the software is running. Alerts appear as notifications on mobile devices, and via the Bell icon on the dashboard when logged in through a browser on desktop.
Yes. Infinite Protection can be administered remotely from the Infinite Protection app on any administrator-signed-in mobile device, or by logging into your account dashboard through a web browser on any desktop or laptop. This makes it easy to manage your team's security from anywhere.
Administrators can use the Pause feature in the Infinite Protection app to temporarily pause the VPN for a few minutes, allowing navigation to a specific site. For sites you visit regularly, you can permanently add them to the "Allowed Websites" list on the Control tab within that user's profile β no need to pause protection each time.
Understand how Infinite Protection protects your data, devices, and online activity.
Infinite Protection VPN encrypts all your traffic using OpenVPN and an AES-256 cipher β the same encryption standard used by the military and banks. Any entity looking in from the outside would see only unreadable, scrambled data. Because your private information is fed to the internet in this encrypted state, it remains secure and completely private.
In the interest of user privacy, Infinite Protection only records a limited amount of activity based on the number of entries rather than time. For an individual who spends a regular amount of time online, a Infinite Protection profile shows approximately 1β2 weeks of history β after which the data is automatically deleted. Infinite Protection does not store your information long-term and never sells your personal data β ever.
Yes β and this is one of Infinite Protection 's most important use cases. On any public or private Wi-Fi network, anyone on that network with the right software can potentially look into your device. Infinite Protection 's always-on VPN ensures your connection is private and secured at all times, even on untrusted public networks like coffee shops, airports, or hotels.
Infinite Protection is encrypted with AES-256. A brute force attack would need to try 2Β²β΅β΅ possible keys β measured in time, this would take approximately 2,117.8 trillion years on average. Beyond encryption, Infinite Protection 's cybersecurity backend is in a near-constant state of configuration to ensure users are fully protected against the threats of today and tomorrow.
All VPNs are not alike. Infinite Protection uses 256-bit encryption β the highest level available β and unlike most VPNs which are "on-demand" (only active when you manually turn them on), Infinite Protection is always on from the moment you turn on your device. A single unprotected minute on public Wi-Fi is all it takes for your safety to be compromised. Infinite Protection closes that gap permanently.
No. Infinite Protection does not store any information long-term, and Infinite Protection does not sell any of your personal information β ever. Your data is yours, and Infinite Protection 's entire purpose is to protect it, not monetize it.
Everything you need to know about pricing, the billing, and cancellation.
There is no setup fee and no cancellation penalty. You can cancel at any time directly from your account settings β no phone calls, no questions asked. Infinite Protection is designed to earn your continued trust, not lock you in.
Additional devices are just $2.99/month each. You can add as many as you need directly from your dashboard β there's no cap on device count, and every device gets the exact same level of protection regardless of how many you add.
Yes. Infinite Protection is easy to remove from any device if you decide to cancel. Simply uninstall it like any other app on your device. If you lost or broke a device and can't log out locally, log into your account dashboard online, navigate to that user's profile, and disconnect and delete the old device from the Monitor tab.
